They take sisterhood seriously and try not to get caught up in drama, which might lead to the sentiment that they're aloof and snobbish. Learn their philanthropy, their academic achievements, their sisterhood. Half of KKG's pledge class drops out before graduating. Get APhi and AXO leftovers. Again, to get in you need to know people, be beautiful, and be from the right areas. It's definitely not for me though. Just behind Theta in that respect. I hear of strife in the sisterhood between the goody two shoes and wild partiers especially with cocaine. The Kappas aren't rich like the Pi Phis and Thetas. Clearly written by a Zeta. Also remember that each sorority is special in their own way and just because you arent in the same chapter as your friend or someone else doesnt mean you cant be friends or be supportive of their chapter. My fear is that rather than focusing on things you can control (conversation skills, brushing up your resume, getting recs in order, rush wardrobe, grooming) you are looking for something that quite frankly, you are going to have very little control over at all.

I understand that as soon as a thread like this is started, people are re-directed to Greek Rank, but Greek Rank is horrible and biased! To stereotype any organization and the members a part of these organizations is belittling of what these organization were founded on. However, many consider Kappas materialistic. Good Standing is reported at beginning of each semester and reflects outcome of the prior semester program. To attempt to generalize thousands and thousands of women based on a national chapter is humorous to me. Bottom Tier: KD, ADPi We foster a culturally conscious, safe, and responsible community, contributing to positive siblinghood. I feel bad talking negatively about them because Ive never met a DG that I didnt like. Sorry. Lot of truth inthe reputations, except there are a lot of really genuine, nice, friendly Pi Phis who are my friends. That will only spell disaster for yourself.

AOIIs can have the reputation of being "srat" girls - sorority girls who hangout with a particular fraternity on campus. Dont know whats happening to them, but they arent what they used to be and are going down fast. And as for the parents and others commenting on this and taking it seriously, don't. Gamma Phi Beta - mid tier (like to party; not classy; not service oriented) - If you want a party and socialize, then join this sorority. At this point I have to assume you have already submitted all of your letters of recommendations and done the required paper work for recruitment. PKT..very different chapters but all three required major connections to get in. Alpha Chi Omega (AXO or A Chi O) is a mid-tier sorority with a widely varying reputation. Kappa has less party girls and more YL girls than Pi Phi and Theta. That one looks good to me. I know for a fact a lot of Zeta's pledge class from last year hangs with the top frats, including FIJI and RHO and all the other Big Six sororities.
